John is an Award Winning Las Vegas Illusionist, Magician, Sleight of Hand Artist, Creator, Inventor, Actor, Psychic Entertainer, Illustrator, TV Consultant, World-Class Fire Manipulator, and Miracle Worker!

John was a consultant on David Blaine’s ABC TV special The Dive of Death and had his original magic featured on Blaine’s TV show What Is Magic and The Dive of Death. He’s performed in shows like the Masters of Magic, and recently headlined 87 stage shows at Circus Circus in Las Vegas.

John is from Denver Colorado, and now lives out of Las Vegas. He’s performed with famous bands like The Pete Jolly Trio, who played with Frank Sinatra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Cherry Poppin’ Daddy, and the Daz Band. He’s been seen on National and International TV on shows such as Rocky Mountain Legacy and News for Kids and has been featured in commercials including several for PBS and Mike’s Camera’s.

John is an award winning magician having won first place in stage magic at T.A.O.M. He also received a Finalist Award in the Gold Medal International Award of Excellence at I.B.M., a Finalist Award in The Society of American Magicians Contest of Magic, as well as taking first place in the Rocky Mountain Magic Close-up Magic Contest and International Stage Magic Contest.

He is a talented illustrator, creator, and inventor contributing to many magic publications including Infinity Journal, Bouncing Back by Wren Enterprises, and the Linking Ring. He was also featured in his own “One Man Parade” in the Linking Ring where he received an International Brotherhood of Magicians Award of Outstanding Merit. He was published in Paul Rohamany’s book, the Mental Epic Compendium, and Reel Magic Magazine. He has also published lecture notes including Eye Candy, Jen-yoo-in, and The Compact Disc Manipulation Manual.

John is the creator of many professional magic props and effects for magicians including; The Quantum Bender line, Energy Bender, Nailed it, Atomic Bills, Brain Scan Wallet, Mental Clip, Clipped, The Bubbler, Beautiful, Cool Cash, Fork Lift Card Rise, and G.I. Bill. He starred in the award winning short film Loaded by Robert D. LaRue, Jr., and did prop design and construction for the off Broadway play Second by Neal Utterback.

He has been an Instructor of Magic at the Arvada Center for the Performing Arts and has lectured at clubs and conventions in Tuscon, Denver, and Las Vegas Magic. He’s entertained and amazed audiences as diverse as resorts such as Aspen, Snowmass, Vail, Winterpark, Keystone, and Beaver Creak. He’s performed at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, as well as Casinos like Circus Circus in Las Vegas, the Sam Remo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino, Riveria Casinos, and the Grand Central Station Casinos.

John has entertained at the University of Colorado, the Chinese Student Scholar Association of American Engineering, the Council of Educational Facility Planners International, Twin Peaks Charter Academy, Colorado University Boulder, Denver University, and Colorado State University. As well as many performances at numerous corporate and society parties, private clubs, special events and nightclubs.
